Archives provide students with a window into the past. These archives can take the form of photographs, documents, records, oral histories, films or tapes.
The Tasglann are drawing on archive resources from across the Western Isles to create education resources in collaboration with teachers and schools to support the Curriculum for Excellence. As well as being made available here they are also available within GLOW and are free to be used by anyone.

Using the crop rotation records of Coulregrein House, Stornoway, the purpose of this project pack is to introduce students to using primary source material, seeing crofting and agriculture in a historical context and relating this to their own experiences.Read more
